Advent Wreath

The Advent wreath is part of a longstanding Catholic tradition. Advent is a time to stir up our faith in the Lord and prepare for Christmas in a special way. Second graders made their Advent wreath today. Teaching and practicing Catholic traditions is a integral part of Catholic Education and is instrumental in forming the whole child.  The Advent wreath is just one way to remain vigilant while waiting for the baby Jesus and not lose sight of the true meaning of Christmas.
