Mr. Lösch brings over thirty years of experience in the “corporate world” to East Lake Academy. After years in the insurance industry, as a Financial Analyst, he decided to pursue his true passion of teaching children. He has taught in either a student-teaching, or substitute-teaching, role in schools as diverse as St. Joseph School (Round Lake), Waukegan High School, Worth Junior High School, Frassati Catholic Academy, Santa Maria del Popolo School, St. Mary of the Annunciation School and in Most Blessed Trinity Academy, where Mr. Lösch was considered part of the faculty. During this period, he has also taught at the Huntington Learning Center preparing students for the ACT exam. Mr. Lösch graduated from St. Joseph School (Round Lake), Carmel Catholic High School, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a minor in Economics from Northern Illinois University. Later he earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Accounting from College of Lake County. Mr. Lösch is a life-long parishioner of St. Joseph Church (Round Lake). Among his duties, he is Head Usher of his church, a member of the Liturgy Committee, along with serving as a financial advisor for the St. Joseph School Board and the Respect Life Committee. Mr. Lösch resides near in unincorporated Fremont Township, with his wife Myrna, and son Tony.
