Erin Beattie joined the East Lake family in 2012 when her son enrolled in the 5th grade. She loved the school so much that she wanted to become more involved. In 2013, she joined the staff as a kindergarten aide. After which she taught in the fourth grade classroom for four years before becoming the Learning Specialist. In 2019, Mrs. Beattie became the Dean of Academics. Mrs. Beattie graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in Education Studies with an emphasis in both Human Growth and Development and Music. She, her husband, and five children live in Green Oaks and belong to St. Joseph Parish in Libertyville.
