Ms. Schultz received her Master of Arts in Education degree from National-Louis University in Chicago in 2013. During her time at National-Louis, she was chosen from the top leaders in the program to receive a paid internship teaching at a Type 1 school in the inner city of Chicago. She has received awards 3 years running as Teacher of the Month for her classroom management and community involvement. Prior to moving to Chicago, she grew up in Springfield, IL where she received her M.A. and B.A. from the University of Illinois Springfield in Interpersonal Communication in 2010. Her and her family have been involved with the Catholic Parish in Springfield for many years where she was baptized and received her confirmation. She currently resides in Fox Lake with her rescue lab puppy and two rescue cats. In her spare time, Ms. Schultz enjoys playing piano, dancing, traveling, biking, and spending time with family and friends.
