Miss Knobel received her bachelor’s degree in Middle Childhood Education, with a focus in Science and English Language Arts. She graduated from Bowling Green State University in December of 2021, and has since moved back home to Chicago. Since graduating, Miss Knobel worked as a long term substitute covering a maternity leave at Deer Path Middle School in Lake Forest, teaching 6th Grade Language Arts. Upon the conclusion of the maternity leave, she continued as a teaching assistant to finish out the school year. Following that role, she covered another maternity leave at Gemini Middle School, teaching 6th Grade Science.Throughout high school and college, Miss Knobel actively participated in and lead numerous Kairos retreats through Saints Faith Hope and Charity Catholic Parish, and she cannot wait to continue her faith journey with the wonderful community at East Lake Academy. She is thrilled to be joining this team and is looking forward to an outstanding first year!
