Second grade is having an exciting year. In math we are learning multiplication, division and fractions. Even more exciting, in handwriting we are now learning how to write in cursive!
We are not too young to learn using technology. As a special treat, the eighth graders came to our class to show us how to log into the Chromebooks using our own user logins and how to create our own google doc. We will be using the Chromebooks when we work on an upcoming social studies report.
Most importantly, the second-grade class is preparing for the Sacrament of First Communion which most students will be receiving in April and May. To prepare for this very special day, we are learning about the parts of the Mass and how to actively participate in the Mass.
