Ms. Barry earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Marquette University in May 2026. She began her collegiate career at Northern Illinois University, where she was a member of the softball team and earned Dean’s List honors during her freshman year. After transferring to Marquette University, she continued her academic success and was again named to the Dean’s List in 2024.
A graduate of Loyola Academy, Ms. Barry was actively involved in her school community and faith formation. After attending Kairos as a junior, she returned as a senior leader, helping guide fellow students through the retreat experience. Inspired by her father, a longtime educator at Loyola Academy, Ms. Barry developed a passion for teaching at a young age and has always known she wanted to pursue a career in education.
Ms. Barry earned her teaching license in Wisconsin and later transferred it to Illinois to be closer to family as she begins her teaching career. Having grown up Catholic, she is excited for the opportunity to share her faith, experiences, and love of learning with her students.
Ms. Barry is the youngest of four siblings and the only daughter in her family. She currently lives with her parents and their dog, Cooper, and looks forward to building a welcoming and supportive classroom community
