Dan Christoffel is a co-founder of American Working Capital, a merchant banking and financial advisory firm focused on partnering with privately-held middle market companies addressing ownership transition and growth capital needs. Prior to AWC, he was an investment professional at The Yucaipa Companies, a large investment fund. Previously, Mr. Christoffel was a Vice President with Duff & Phelps, LLC where he focused on providing investment banking and transaction advisory services to middle market companies. Preceding Duff & Phelps, Mr. Christoffel was a Senior Associate with Valuemetrics Advisors, Inc., where he provided similar services. He received a BS in both Economics and Human Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University. He also serves on the Alumni Leadership Council for the Portsmouth Abbey School, a Benedictine boarding school located in Portsmouth, RI. He and his wife Graziella (Tita) have seven children, with the five eldest enrolled at the Academy.
