Mrs. Lagman graduated with a BA in Elementary Education from Northeastern Illinois University in 2005 and joined East Lake Academy in fall 2006, as a First Grade teacher. She has a Type 03 Standard Teaching Certificate and a minor in linguistics. Mrs. Lagman also completed her endorsements in: Middle School, Language Arts & Social Science. After graduating she accepted a position as a special education teacher’s aide at Northbrook Junior High School for the 2005-2006 school year. She served as a childcare coordinator while completing her degree at Greenbriar Elementary School in Northbrook, Illinois (August 2001-June 2005); and was an Assistant Director for the North Suburban YMCA summer camp program (2002-2006). She also taught religious education at St. Margaret Mary parish in Chicago, Illinois for four years, starting in 2000. Mrs. Lagman currently resides in Gurnee, Illinois with her husband Errol and their four children Aralynne, Avery, Addison and Anthony, all of whom attend East Lake.
