Mrs. Echavez has been at East Lake Academy since 2002. She taught at A-Karrasel, a private school in Chicago before coming to East Lake Academy. She had the opportunity to teach various grades from Kindergarten to Eighth Grade for Religious Education from 1993-1999 at St. Mary’s Parish in Riverside, Illinois. She has also worked in Meadowbrook Elementary School in Northbrook, Illinois as a Childcare Coordinator. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a B.A. in History-Secondary Education. She currently resides in Lake Bluff, Illinois with her husband, Philip and their children, Isaiah, Noah, Isabella and Rebecca.
