Miss Cassandra Calderisi is very excited to be joining the East Lake community as the Middle School History Teacher. Ever since she was a middle school student, she has had a passion and love for history. She is excited to share this with the students of East Lake. Growing up, she attended two Catholic schools, Embers Elementary and The Willows Academy. These schools are her roots and she gives them considerable credit for guiding her in a life of faith and morals. After high school, she received her Bachelor’s in History Education for grades 6-12 from Northeastern Illinois University. She also received a minor with an endorsement in ESL.
Along with her love for history, she is an avid reader. She loves art, musicals and music of all kinds. She loves the outdoors. She is looking forward to the school year and all the exciting opportunities.
