In fifth grade, we enjoyed an afternoon of Science hands-on centers to wrap up the first trimester of learning. Each center gave the students a chance to use their previous knowledge to delve further into their group work. The centers included microscope work, ramps, planes, scale work, and the students built shapes to test weight limits. This gave the students a chance for group work and making a hypothesis together. The students were excited to use their Science knowledge and vocabulary words to experiment and explore.
