Is it a bird? An ice cream cone? A dog? No, it is a cloud! The Kindergartners are studying nephology, otherwise known as the study of clouds! They have learned about the three main types of clouds: cirrus, cumulus, and cumulonimbus. They have studied the altitude the clouds are in, the type of particles they are made of, and what each type of cloud may produce. They also tapped into their imaginations and named various objects the cloud images reminded them of. Finally, each kindergartner created flip book of the three types of cloud, the images they connected to each cloud, and shared them with their classmates. Each child offered encouraging comments to one another and supported each other by being images of Christ!
